Carlito:07.02.2007 um 16:57Looks like spreeblickers still want to have fun, anyway! All this winking! ;-)
That SWAT team at the rave footage is still amazing to me, emblemic even. I can think of a couple of times I wish I’d had a camera at times like that (well minus the full camo).
That Borat movie psychologically traumatized half of my office. Awesome.

Carlito:02.02.2007 um 15:51> Taxi Driver emulates living in NYC ?
Not really, but it’s what you actually want, I think. The Woody Allen and “Sex and the City” versions would drive you nuts.

Carlito:01.02.2007 um 21:28Just watch Taxi Driver over and over: you get the same effect and it’s a lot cheaper than living here.

Carlito:01.02.2007 um 15:46According to this article, he learned his trade at Riker’s Island as a prison guard. Society sometimes finds uses for assholes like this, but they should be kept far away from ‘civilians’. I don’t blame the man so much as the mayor for giving him any peacetime authority.
mmmm… tentacle porn!

Carlito:19.01.2007 um 15:57stupid wordpress isn’t letting me even POST now!
Wedge, no offense taken: I’m always happy when people read Hudsonblick. I think your opinions of the science may be colored by your opinions of some of its proponents. I hope that you re-examine the data available, become convinced that there can be a catastrophic, human-triggered climate change, and then STILL rail against doing anything about it. I, personally, would love that! ;-)
In recognition of this scenario, I have added a new class to my taxonomy above (number 5). PROST!

Carlito:17.01.2007 um 22:50“I felt like putting a bullet between the eyes of every Panda that wouldn’t screw to save its species. I wanted to open the dump valves on oil tankers and smother all those French beaches I’d never see. I wanted to breathe smoke. I wanted to destroy something beautiful.”
Spittle-spewing makes great prose. Science, I’m afraid, relies on boring facts.

Carlito:15.01.2007 um 17:08regarding the suicide-by-cop thing: yes, it’s real. The usual method is to wave an unloaded gun at police to get them to shoot you. They’re easy to trick that way.

Carlito:15.01.2007 um 16:57Ocean currents, and the possible results of dumping the polar ice caps into them, are discussed. Paradoxically, global warming might make Europe a lot colder…

Carlito:09.11.2006 um 21:50I got an ad for “Employee Misconduct Investigations”!
These last elections were amazing; a huge step forward. “Stay the Course” was just not cutting it. I don’t know why they didn’t figure that out two years ago, but better late than never.
As for Hilary, I’m not really a huge fan, but I’m pretty sure she’ll run. Funny thing happened at a shooting match I was at a few weeks ago. A bunch of cadets from West Point showed up and, to the surprise of the resident gun nuts, one of them defended Hilary’s record as a supporter of the military. Maybe the Clinton “triangulation” trick still works?

Carlito:08.11.2006 um 00:23Are lethargy and panic my only choices? Probably. Don’t blame the jobs though, I think it’s just me.

Once you move to the suburbs you get a lot more out of simulated urban hellscapes. Ironically, you no longer have time to play the damn thing because of the screaming kids you had once you moved there. Fuck!
